The University of Essex Collection of Latin American Art is based at the University of Essex, Colchester, UK. It comprises over 600 works by major modern and contemporary artists from Latin America. It works in Partnership with the Colchester arts organisation firstsite.

This internationally important collection is now available as a fully illustrated and researched online catalogue.

UECLAA co-ordinates a range of symposia, exhibitions and events relating to modern and contemporary Latin American Art.

UECLAA plays an important role in the unique range of courses on Latin American art on offer in the Department of Art History and Theory at the University of Essex.
